Michaela Cole (Parishville, N.Y./Parishville-Hopkinton) scored for the Bears and sophomore goalie
Katie Longamore (Dexter, N.Y./General Brown) made nine saves.
Cole scored 2:32 into the contest to open the scoring. The Blue Devils slowly pulled away after the goal. Audrey Yokopovich and Katie Miller each scored twice and Fredonia took a 6-1 advantage into the break.
Miller then scored the first three of the second half and Tara Keohane closed the scoring with two in a row.
Blue Devils goalie Nicole Burrows made five saves to earn the victory.
The Bears are back in action on Wednesday, when they travel to Oswego for a 4 p.m. contest.
