The Lakers finally heated up in the third quarter, opening with a 19-4 run. The Bears closed the period with an 8-2 stretch and trailed 39-29 after 30 minutes. Marcellus accounted for four points, while Giavatto and junior guard

Potsdam put up 15 points in the final quarter, but couldn't make up ground as Oswego finished out the 58-44 victory. Dufrane hit two threes and Walters and Horton each scored four more. Freshman guard

Rachael Windhausen recorded a double-double for the Lakers with 14 points and 12 rebounds. Quincey Zimmerman and Courtney Ameele each scored 14 as well. Zana Dillard finished with seven points and 12 boards.
The Bears are back in action tomorrow afternoon at 1 p.m. when they travel to Cortland to take on the Red Dragons.
