The Lakers opened the contest on a 6-1 run, including two goals from both Brigid Regin and Kamryn Sherman. O'Connor got the Potsdam on the board with a free-position marker at 22:23 to make it 3-1. O'Connor netted another free-position goal at 18:01 and freshman midfielder

Meaghan Paige (Carthage, N.Y./Carthage) got Potsdam within 14-11 at 2:59. However, Oswego held on and Riley Jaquin cemented the win with an man-up goal with 31 seconds remaining.
Elianna Sanchez earned the win between the pipes after allowing 10 goals and making seven saves in the first 56:08. Paige Noel allowed one goal in the last 3:52.
Paige collected four ground balls and caused four turnovers for Potsdam and O'Connor continued to dominate on the draw with 14 draw controls. Longamore also matched a game-high with six ground balls.
The Bears begin a three-game homestand with a 4 p.m. contest against SUNY Oneonta on Wednesday.
