WILKES-BARRE, PA. – The SUNY Potsdam men's volleyball team (1-3) traveled to Wilkes University (5-3) Friday night, where they fell to the Colonels 3-0 (25-17, 25-18, 25-17).

Zaire Rogers (Cheektowaga, N.Y./Cheektowaga) led the way for the Bears with nine kills, eight digs and two aces. Sophomore setter
Alec Roy (North Tonawanda, N.Y./North Tonawanda) had a strong game as he recorded 19 assists and four kills. Junior outside hitter
Ernest Sosa (Bronx, N.Y./Bronx Leadership Academy) had six kills. Senior outside hitter
Saluhu Malam (Bronx, N.Y./Harry S. Truman) tallied three blocks for the Bears. Freshman libero
Kiernan Morgan (Valley Stream, N.Y./Valley Stream North) had six digs. Junior
Brendan Wall (Massapequa Park, N.Y./Massapequa) posted nine digs and two assists.
For the Colonels, Zach Shay lead the team with 29 assists, two blocks and two aces. Andrew Potter tallied eight kills and three aces, Zach Evans recorded with eight kills and seven digs, and Alberto Ramon contributed with 17 digs.
The Bears are back in action on February 2, as they open the NEAC when they travel to Lancaster, Pa. to compete against Wilson and the host Chargers.
