NEW PALTZ, N.Y.—SUNY New Paltz (2-1, 2-1 SUNYAC) defeated the SUNY Potsdam women's lacrosse team (2-5, 0-4) 20-6 on Thursday afternoon to complete the SUNYAC East season series.

Amy Hofer led the Hawks attack with eight goals and an assist for nine points. Katie Zito scored four goals. Maddy Carullo and Tara Bovich each had two goals and an assist and Maddie Gillis added two tallies.
The Bears are home on Saturday at 4:30 p.m. with a newly added contest against Elmira College.
