The Blue Devils took the first set 25-16. The Bears then battled back to win the second set 25-22 before falling to the Blue Devils in sets three (19-25) and four (20-25). Senior outside hitter
Mikayla Myers (Gloversville, N.Y./Mayfield) had seven kills and three blocks. Senior setter
Colleen Murphy (Clifton Park, N.Y./Shenendehowa) contributed 16 assists while senior outside hitter
Abygail Olejnik (Bakersfield, Calif./Bakersfield) added 13 digs and two aces. Ader finished the match with 11 kills, 24 digs, one ace and three assists for the Bears.
Freshman outside hitter Gabrielle Chilcott (Getzville, N.Y/Williamsville North) had a match high of 13 kills and two aces. Junior setter Kourtney Krchniak (Amherst, N.Y/Williamsville East) contributed 36 assists, 19 digs and two aces for the Blue Devils. Junior Defensive Specialist Elora Sherman (Huntington Station, N.Y/Harborfields) had 28 digs against the Bears.
The Bears travel to Buffalo State tomorrow and face off with Bangles at 1PM.
