The Saints built a 12-0 halftime lead. Senior attackman Chris Jordan (Garden City, N.Y./Garden City) led SLU with three goals and three assists. Senior attackman Mark Mahoney (Canton, N.Y./Hotchkiss) had two goals and two assists. Senior attackman Jack Hennessey (Hingham, N.Y./Hingham) scored three goals and sophomore attackman Judge Murphy (Cohasset, Mass./Brooks School) added two goals and an assist.
Miller got Potsdam on the board with an unassisted marker to open the scoring in the third quarter. After two goals from the Saints, the Bears answered with three in a row. Sophomore midfielder

Saints senior goalie William Helm (Loudonville, N.Y./Hotchkiss) earned the win after giving up just one goal and stopping nine shots in the first 38:21. Sophomore Andrew Vona (Sudbury, Mass./Lincoln Sudbury) allowed three goals and made a save in the next 6:39. Freshman Michael Marinello (Sherborn, Mass./Belmont Hill School) started the fourth quarter and stopped three shots and allowed a goal in 9:57. Junior Elliott LaGorce (Summit, N.J./The Pingry School) made two saves in the last 5:03.
The Bears are now off until March 15, when they head to Castleton University for a 4 p.m. contest.
