The Bears finished with a 23-13 advantage in shots and a 6-5 edge in corner kicks. Evans allowed two goals and made one save in the first 55:54 and Schwartz allowed a goal an made three stops. Lehr stopped eight shots for the win.
The Bears head to Maritime tomorrow for a 1:30 contest before they return to host St. Lawrence University on Wednesday at 7 p.m. in their home opener.
