ONEONTA, N.Y.—SUNY Oneonta (5-15, 2-6 SUNYAC) defeated the SUNY Potsdam women's volleyball team (6-16, 0-7) 3-1 on Saturday afternoon. Junior opposite Alyssa Adams (Jamestown, N.Y./Randolph) led the Bears with nine kills, 13 digs, two blocks and an ace.
 
Oneonta took sets one and two 25-18 and 25-16, before the Bears rallied for a 25-21 win in set three. The Red Dragons then closed out the win 25-10. Senior opposite Kendall Jones (Parker, Colo./Elizabeth) had six kills. Sophomore setter Sophia Layer (Potsdam, N.Y./Potsdam) recorded 16 assists and 10 digs. Freshman libero Madison Gilliland (Rossville, Ga./Lakeview Fort Oglethorpe) added 12 digs and two assists.
 
Ashanti Davis registered a match-high 19 kills along with three blocks for the Red Dragons. Julia Reed had 14 kills and nine digs. Isabella Fabrizio contributed eight kills. Layla Driscoll-Webster had 38 assists and Annalisa Alicea finished with 28 digs.
 
The Bears host SUNY Canton on Wednesday night at 6 p.m. for Senior Night.
