WESTFIELD, MASS.—The SUNY Potsdam cross country teams completed their 2023 campaigns at the NCAA Division III Mideast Region Championships at Westfield State this morning. The Bears men finished 24th and the women ran as individuals. Williams College captured the men's and women's titles.

Emily Yousey (Lacona, N.Y./Sandy Creek) ran a 6K time of 25:25.20, finishing 132nd and freshman
Lillian Letzring (Schuylerville, N.Y./Schuylerville) was 155th in 28:27.60. Both runners established new personal best times.

Sam Renaud (Lagrangeville, N.Y./Trinity-Pawling) was the top finisher for the men with an 8K time of 28:59.40 for 126th place. Sophomore
Eli Siracusa (Penfield, N.Y./Penfield) ran a personal best time of 29:45.60 for a 136th place finish. Junior
Kain Robinson (Alder Creek, N.Y./Alder Creek) and freshman
Samuel Barney (Plattsburgh, N.Y./Plattsburgh) finished 161st and 162nd with times of 33:04.10 and 33:19.10, respectively. Senior
Harper Barrett (Lowville, N.Y./Beaver River) was 166th in 35.30.70 and freshman
Connor Till (Castile, N.Y./Letchworth) was right behind in 167th with a personal best 35.40.90.

Most of the runners will be back in action with the start of indoor track season on December 1, at the St. Lawrence University Holiday Relays.
