Potsdam started strong and gave as good as they got over the first 10 minutes of the first half. Senior guard
Isaac Oduro Jr. (Jamaica, N.Y./Christ the King) opened the contest with back-to-back baskets to give the Bears a 4-0 lead. A dunk from junior forward
Shaheed Alcide (Queens, N.Y./Cambria Heights Academy) made it 8-4 at 17:18. The Lakers slowly gained the upper hand. Alcide scored on a layup at 10:15 and got the Bears within 20-17. Oswego then stepped on the gas and closed the half on a 28-11 flurry. The Lakers led 48-28 at the break. Oswego continued to expand its lead through the second half.

Erik Wall (Syracuse, N.Y./Bishop Grimes) had a personal-best eight points. Alcide and junior forward
Parker Kelly (Plattsburgh, N.Y./Beekmantown) each scored seven points.
Ahkee Anderson and Jeremiah Sparks each scored a game-high 13 points for the Lakers. Josh Thigpen and Sean Edwards contributed 10 points each.
The Bears head to SUNY Cortland tomorrow for a 4 p.m. matchup.
