Joe Zimmerman (Fairport, N.Y./Fairport) led the Bears with 11 kills, five aces and eight digs. Junior middle hitter
Jason Hendler (East Meadow, N.Y./East Meadow) added seven kills and freshman outside hitter
Duncan Tenhagen (Buffalo, N.Y./West Seneca West) chipped in six kills and four aces.
The Bears defeated the Blazers by 25-8, 25-16 and 25-17 scores. Graduate student setter
Cooper Colesante (Central Square, N.Y./Paul V. Moore) finished with 26 assists, six digs and a block. Junior setter
Michael Anderson (Lindenhurst, N.Y./Lindenhurst) had six assists and junior outside hitter
Tom Shemik (Grand Island, N.Y./Grand Island) rounded out the leaders with seven digs.
Jairam Rodriguez led Elms with seven kills and six digs. Ryan Perry had four kills, an ace and a block. Lewis Torres contributed 13 assists and Colin Liedke posted 11 digs.
The Bears head to Springfield College for a tri-match tomorrow evening. Potsdam faces Rivier College at 5 p.m. and the host and fourth-ranked Pride at 7 p.m.
