Anita Reitano (Averill Park, N.Y./Averill Park) matched a career-high with eight points on six goals and two assists. Sophomore midfielder
Mia Martin (Six Nations, Ontario/McKinnon Park Secondary) and senior defender
Marley Hawthorne (Saratoga Springs, N.Y./Saratoga Springs) each had two goals and an assist for three points.
After Madison Bastien opened the scoring with a free-position marker at 12:40, the Bears rattled off the next six goals. Hawthorne tied the game with a free-position shot at 12:00. Martin gave Potsdam the lead at 11:37 and Reitano scored the next four for a 6-1 lead after one quarter. Two of the goals came by way of free-positions and senior captain
Hannah Stevenson (Canton, N.Y./Hugh C. Williams) assisted on one.
Three different Wildcats scored to start the second quarter and get within 6-4 at 8:35. Junior attack
AnnaBelle Mitchell (Akwesasne, N.Y./Salmon River) slowed the momentum three minutes later, but Molly Burdick had the last goal of the half and it was a 7-5 contest at the break.
Martin set up Reitano for a man-up goal 30 seconds into the third quarter. The teams split the next four goals. Hawthorne and freshman midfielder
Megan MacWilliams (Parishville, N.Y./Parishville-Hopkinton) scored for the Bears and it was 10-7 at 3:58. SUNY Poly countered with the last two of the half, including a Burdick man-up tally and Potsdam led 10-9 after 45 minutes.
Kaitlin Kopcza tied the contest a final time 19 seconds into the fourth quarter. Potsdam got the next two to regain the lead for good. Stevenson buried a feed from Reitano at 12:39 and sophomore attack
Mallory Marks (Brownville, N.Y./General Brown) made it 12-10 at 11:58. After another Burdick goal for the Wildcats, Hawthorne set up Martin's second goal of the game and Reitano assisted on Mark's second for a 14-11 lead with 6:48 to play. Kopcza and Burdick scored the two of the final three goals, but Reitano netted her sixth at 3:20 to put the game out of reach.

Jane Olszewski (Thornwood, N.Y./Westlake) started for the Bears and made six saves and allowed five goals in 30 minutes. Freshman
Olivia Minarich (Albany, N.Y./Albany) made five saves and allowed eight goals in the other 30 minutes. Jayden Brown stopped 16 shots for the Wildcats.
Marks also collected 10 draw controls and four ground balls. MacWilliams totaled eight draw controls and four ground balls.
Burdick led SUNY Poly with five goals and Kopcza finished with four points on three goals and an assist.
Reitano now has 135 points on 87 goals and 48 assists. The totals place her in seventh place on the program's all-time scoring list and ties her with Bri McClusky '16 on the goals list.
The Bears are back in action next Saturday when they return home to host Morrisville State at 1 p.m.
