Owen Walsh (Ballston Spa, N.Y./Ballston Spa) registered five points on three goals and two assists. Sophomore midfielder
Drew Rose (Brasher Falls, N.Y./St. Lawrence Central) had three goals and one assist to compliment his teammates.
Potsdam scored five times in the opening quarter. Sophomore midfielder
Ryan Hughes (Corning, N.Y./Corning-Painted Post) got the Bears on the board two minutes into the contest on a man-up opportunity.

Owen Walsh and Rose all found the back of the net to give the Bears a 5-1 advantage after 15 minutes.
The Bears scored four unanswered goals to begin the second quarter. The Walsh brothers scored three of those goals and senior attackman
Noah Strader (Ogdensburg, N.Y./Ogdensburg Free Academy) netted one to extend the Potsdam lead over the Kangaroos 9-1 with 6:38 remaining. Austin Mesler managed to get Canton's second goal one minute later. Potsdam answered by scoring three more goals of their own from Hughes, Rose, and

Tyler Gould (Webster, N.Y./Webster Schroeder) followed by burying his first of the game to put the Bears up 16-2 with 5:04 remaining. Canton added two more goals to cut the deficit to 12 at the end of the quarter.
