POTSDAM, N.Y.—The SUNY Potsdam women's soccer team (2-3-1, 0-1-1 SUNYAC) battled invading Plattsburgh State (2-2-2, 0-0-1) to a scoreless tie on Wednesday afternoon at Maxcy Turf Field. Senior goalie
Savannah Bowie made three saves for her third career shutout.
The Bears outshot the Cardinals 4-2 in the opening 45 minutes. Plattsburgh junior goalie Laura Haley (LaGrange, N.Y./Arlington) made two stops and Bowie made one. The Cardinals had the only corner kick of the first half.
