POTSDAM, N.Y.—SUNY Oneonta (2-6-1, 2-1 SUNYAC) scored less that two minutes into the contest and made it stand up in a 1-0 victory over the SUNY Potsdam women's soccer team (2-9, 0-3 SUNYAC).
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Sophomore midfielder Emma Parente (Holtsville, N.Y./Sachem East) finished a cross from junior forward Kaiden Ring (East Greenbush, N.Y./Columbia) just 1:50 into the contest's only goal.
 
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
  • The Bears outshot the Red Dragons 12-6, but Oneonta had a 4-3 edge in corner kicks.
  • Sophomore goalie Megan Fry (Webster, N.Y./Webster Schroeder) finished with five saves.
