POTSDAM, N.Y.—The SUNY Potsdam men's hockey team will hold a Teddy Bear Toss during Saturday night's contest with SUNY Cortland. The Bears take on the Red Dragons at 7 p.m.
 
The Teddy Bears, or stuffed animals of any kind, will be tossed onto the ice after the Bears' first goal or during the first intermission. Whichever takes place first.
 
All of the stuffed animals will be donated to the Children's Home of Jefferson County. The organization will gift them to local foster children over the holiday season.
 
The following day, Sunday, November 24, Potsdam's men's and women's hockey teams will host a "Skate with a Bear" at Maxcy Hall Ice Arena at noon.
