CANTON, N.Y. - The SUNY Potsdam women's hockey team (5-5-1, 1-4-1 SUNYAC) scored twice in the third to rally past the SUNY Canton Kangaroos (4-8-0, 3-5-0 SUNYAC) in a 2-1 SUNYAC victory on Friday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- In the first and second period of play, neither the Bears nor the Roos were able to put the puck in the net.
- Within the first minute of the third, Kyra O'Keefe scored an unassisted goal to give the Roos a 1-0 lead.
- At 11:34, graduate student forward Kaylee Merrill (Wasilla, Alaska/Anchorage North stars) scored on the power play to tie the game. Sophomore forward Elise Clifford (Auburn, N.Y./Syracuse Valley Eagles) and sophomore defenseman Jessika Bullock (Norfolk, N.Y./Adirondack 46ers) assisted on the play.
- At 16:07 in the third, graduate student forward Rylee Garrow (Akwesasne, Quebec/ St. Lawrence Steel) netted the game-winner for the Bears. Junior forward Rebecca Cain (Skaneateles, N.Y. Syracuse Valley Eagles) and Junior defensemen Rachelle Cain (Skaneateles, N.Y. Syracuse Valley Eagles) assisted on the goal.
