POTSDAM, N.Y.- The SUNY Potsdam women's basketball team (6-10, 2-7 SUNYAC) was unable to come back against the Oneonta Red Dragons (7-10, 4-6 SUNYAC) on Saturday afternoon, losing 58-48 in a SUNYAC contest.

WHAT HAPPENED
- During the first quarter, the Red Dragons had a 7-0 run over the last two minutes of the quarter, giving them the lead, 17-8.
- The second quarter started with the Bears finding rhythm and going on a 6-0 run to close within 25-20 at the 3:20 mark. Oneonta led 27-22 at the half.
- The Red Dragons tallied 23 points in the third while the Bears scored in points, to increase their lead to 40-30 after 30 minutes.
- The Bears tallied 18 points in the fourth to match Oneonta, but could not erase the deficit, losing 58-48.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Junior forward DaeLynn Alcock (Philadelphia, N.Y./Indian River) led the Bears with 13 points and eight rebounds.
- Senior forward Jenna Cotter (Johnson City, N.Y./Susquehanna Valley) netted 12 points, five rebounds and three blocks.
- Senior center Amanda Zuntag (Staten Island, N.Y.) netted 15 points, four rebounds and two assists.
- The Red Dragons had their biggest lead of the contest,49-37, at 4:42 of the fourth quarter with a score of 49-37.
- The Bears shot 39.5-percent from the field while the Red Dragons shot 34.4-percent.
