POTSDAM, N.Y.—Morrisville State (4-5-3, 1-2-2 SUNYAC) scored in the 87th minute to edge the SUNY Potsdam men's soccer team (4-7-1, 0-5) 2-1 on Saturday afternoon.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED

• There was no scoring in the first half.
• Mustangs sophomore goalie Ronaldo Fatolou (New York, N.Y./Urban Assembly for Media High) had four saves in the first 45 minutes and Bears senior keeper Ian Schwartz (Amsterdam, N.Y./Broadalbin-Perth) stopped two shots.
• At 48:42, Morrisville finally broke through. Freshman midfielder Christ Sorel Fopossi Tchuente (Bronx, N.Y./Lycee d'Application Nelson Mandela) picked up a loose ball and sent a long shot into the right corner of the net.
• Potsdam sophomore forward Leo Hector (Dix Hills, N.Y./Half Hollow Hills East) got the Bears even with his first career goal at 63:55.
• With just 3:35 left, Fopossi fed junior Musab Kamaldeen (Bronx, N.Y./Mott Haven Village Prep) in front for the Mustangs' game-winner.
