MORRISVILLE, N.Y.—The SUNY Potsdam women's lacrosse team (6-8, 1-7 SUNYAC) recorded a season-high offensive showing, roughing up Morrisville State (0-10, 0-8) 25-10 on Friday afternoon. Graduate student midfielder
Lindsey LaDue (Massena, N.Y./Massena) had a career-high 10 points on eight goals and two assists.

- With her big day, LaDue now has 75 points (48g, 27a) on the season and 197 (145g, 52a) for her career. She needs just one point to tie Anita Reitano's 2022 single-season record. LaDue is fourth on the all-time scoring list and needs just two goals to top hall of famer Carly Richards' program goals record. She ranks fifth in all-time assists.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Bears outscored the Mustangs 4-2 in the opening quarter. LaDue, senior midfielder Tessa Pierce (Saratoga Springs, N.Y./Saratoga Springs), senior midfielder Mallory Marks (Brownville, N.Y./General Brown) and freshman attack Jayla Thompson (Hogansburg, N.Y./Massena) each scored.
- Potsdam struck nine times in the second quarter, while only allowing three goals for a 13-5 lead at the half. Junior midfielder Megan MacWilliams (Parishville, N.Y./Parishville), LaDue and Thompson each scored twice. Graduate student attack Kalli Hewitt (Saratoga Springs, N.Y./Schuylerville), Pierce and Marks netted the other three markers.
- The Bears had a 5-3 edge in the third quarter for an 18-8 lead through 45 minutes. LaDue had three more goals, including two while a player-up. Thompson had a player-down goal and MacWilliams chipped in another.
- Potsdam finished strong, scoring seven of the fourth quarter's nine goals. LaDue and freshman attack Riana Baxter (Massena, N.Y./Massena) each scored twice. Thompson, junior attack Tatiana Hillicke (Holtsville, N.Y./Sachem East) and Pierce also scored.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Pierce had a personal best six points on three goals and three assists.
- Thompson finished with five goals and an assist.
- MacWilliams registered three goals and Marks totaled two goals and an assist.
- Freshman goalie Kimora Swamp (Akwesasne, N.Y./Salmon River) made 11 saves and allowed eight goals in three quarters.
- Junior goalie Jane Olszewski (Thornwood, N.Y./Westlake) allowed two goals and made two saves in the fourth quarter.
- Rebecca Thomas allowed 13 goals and made nine saves in the first half for the Mustangs. Aniyah Smith gave up 12 tallies and stopped six shots in the second half.
- Anyssia Ingersoll led Morrisville's offense with nine points on seven goals and two assists.
