CANTON, N.Y.—The SUNY Potsdam cross country teams ran at the 33rd annual Ronald C. Hoffman Invitational at St. Lawrence University on Saturday. The Bears men finished 11th, while sophomore
Makayla Farmer (Massena, N.Y./Massena) represented the women. Queen's University out of Kingston, Ontario won the men's title and Middlebury College claimed the women's crown.
Sophomore
Bryson Brown (New York, N.Y./Mercersburg Academy) led the men with an 8K time of 29:24.5. Senior
Eli Siracusa (Penfield, N.Y./Penfield) was next in 30:41.4, followed by junior
Samuel Barney (Plattsburgh, N.Y./Plattsburgh) at 30:44.0. Senior
Josef Kaufman (Marcellus, N.Y./Marcellus) and Junior
Jack Schroeder (Gouverneur, N.Y./Gouverneur) completed the day with times of 38:51.2 and 39.52.4, respectively. Farmer posted a 6K time of 27:15.7
Potsdam is back in action next Saturday at the SUNY Poly Wildcat Invitational.
