POTSDAM, N.Y.—Senior forward
Jeremy Quesnel (Alexandria, Ontario/Hawkesbury Hawks) scored less than two minutes into the contest and junior goaltender
Lenny Perno (Rochester, N.Y./Richmond Generals) stopped all 32 shots that came his way as the SUNY Potsdam men's hockey team (7-7, 4-3 SUNYAC) shut out Fredonia (1-10-1, 1-5-1) 1-0 on Saturday evening.
HOW IT HAPPENED

- Perno stopped 10 shots in the first period and 14 in the second.
- The Blue Devils had two power plays in the third period, but continued to be frustrated by Perno and the Bears' defense.
- Fredonia senior goalie Charles-Anthony Barbeau (St.-Remi, Quebec/Northern Colorado Eagles) was pulled for an extra attacker with 1:06 left, but the Blue Devils couldn't net the equalizer.
