OSWEGO, N.Y.—Oswego State (10-4, 7-0 SUNYAC) defeated the SUNY Potsdam women's lacrosse team (3-10, 1-6) 15-4 on Wednesday afternoon.
 
INSIDE THE NUMBERS

• The Lakers built a 10-1 halftime lead and never let up for the victory.
• Sophomore attack Jayla Thompson (Hogansburg, N.Y./Massena, N.Y.) had two goals and three draw controls and senior captain Auna Shadle (Massena, N.Y./Massena) had a goal, an assist, three draw controls and two caused turnovers. Sophomore attack Ava Murphy (Lisbon, N.Y./Lisbon) had the Bears' other goal and sophomore midfielder Maggie Akin (Potsdam, N.Y./Potsdam) picked up an assist.
• Aubri Greene led the Lakers with five goals and an assist. Alexis Hill contributed four goals.
• Senior goalie Olivia Minarich (Albany, N.Y./Albany) had 11 saves and allowed 10 goals in the first half for Potsdam. Fellow senior goalie Jane Olszewski (Thornwood, N.Y./Westlake) made three saves and allowed five goals in the second half.
• Lakers goalie Alana Iacovissi earned the win with a save and a goal allowed in the first half. Sophia Diaz allowed three goals and made one save in the second half.
