Biography

Rashaun Durden returns for his fourth season with the Bears after being named a 2012 Face-Off Yearbook preaseason All-American. The shutdown defender has 31 ground balls and 23 caused turnovers in 39 games at Potsdam.
 
2011: Played in 17 games with 16 starts and was named USILA Honorable Mention All-American and the SUNYAC Player of the Year…he collected 12 ground balls and caused 10 turnovers.
 
2010: Played in 11 games with 2 starts, he collected 8 ground balls and caused 7 turnovers.
 
2009: Played in 11 games with 1 start, he collected 11 ground balls and caused 6 turnovers.
 
Personal: Son of Matthew and Faith Durden…majoring in communications…was All-WNY in high school… career ambition is to be a college coach and sports analyst…favorite food is chicken parmesan…favorite athlete is Amare Stoudemire… is a fan of the NY Knicks…lists his parents as his heroes…greatest Potsdam memory memory is hosting and winning 2011 semifinal vs. Geneseo
