Stephanie Simons is returns for her third season with the Bears and her second as one of the team’s co-captain. In 43 career games, Simons has 14 goals and 22 assists for 36 points in 43 career games.

2009-10: Played in all 25 games and led the team in scoring with 10 goals and 15 assists for 25 points. Simons scored four power-play goals and led the team with four game-winning goals.

2008-09: Played 18 games and was fourth on the team in scoring as a freshman with four goals and seven assists for 11 points.

Personal: Simons is majoring in childhood education and lists Biology as her favorite class at Potsdam. The junior is a big fan of the Detroit Red Wings and Pavel Datsyuk. Her favorite meal is steak and potatoes. Simons, a two sport athlete at Potsdam, is also a member of the Bears soccer team. Her greatest Potsdam memories include road trips with her teammates.
