POTSDAM, N.Y.— Senior men's hockey player Ryan Lieth (Warwick, N.Y./New York Apple Core) and senior women's hockey player Kaylee Merrill (Wasilla, Alaska/Anchorage North Stars) have been named SUNY Potsdam Athletes of the Week for the week ending November 20.
 
Lieth had a goal and an assist in the Bears' 3-2 win over Fredonia on Saturday evening. The defenseman now has five points in his last five games and share's the team lead in scoring.
 
Merrill scored another two goals in Potsdam's 4-3 setback to Canton on Friday. Merrill leads the team with six goals this season. Her 35 goals tie her for third on the program's NCAA-era goals list with Jessica Silveira '15. Merrill's 43 points place her 12th on the Bears' NCAA-era scorting list.
