CANTON, N.Y.—The SUNY Potsdam men's and women's indoor track and field teams started their sixth seasons with a strong showing at the St. Lawrence University Holiday Relays. The teams combined for six school records and 19 top-10 performances.

Logan Ploss (East Greenbush, N.Y./Columbia) to finish fifth in the distance medley with the second fastest time of 12:02.52. Oduro was just .02 meters shy of his school record in the long jump, posting the program's third best distance of 5.70m for a 12th place finish. Senior
Edem Bruce (Bronx, N.Y./Lancaster Mennonite School) was 15th in the long jump with Potsdam's seventh longest distance of 5.27m. Ceesay finished fourth in the men's high jump with a height of 1.80m, the first time a Bear has competed in the event indoors. Junior

Emily Yousey (Lacona, N.Y./Sandy Creek) became the first Bear to run the 600m, finishing third with a time of 1:51.42. Sophomore
Natalie Hartmann (Farmingville, N.Y./Sachem East) was sixth in the same event with a time of 2:06.79. Freshman Aislinn Hertle (Kingston, N.Y./Kingston) was sixth in the 1000m with Potsdam's fifth fastest time of 4:32.08. von Ahn was 16th in the 300m with a time of 47.40, less than a second off her school record time.
