Mallory Marks (Brownville, N.Y./General Brown) had the other.
The Hawks struck first, but Reitano tied the game at 1-1 at 10:36 of the first quarter. New Paltz then scored the last four of the opening period and led 5-1 after 15 minutes.
After the Hawks scored the first goal of the second quarter, senior attack
Macy Reid (Orchard Park, N.Y./Orchard Park) set up Reitano's second marker at 9:00. Reitano struck again at 5:51 and added her fourth while the Bears were a man-up at 1:36. Potsdam trailed 9-4 at the half.
New Paltz pulled away with seven unanswered goals in the third quarter for a 16-4 advantage. Marks and Reitano scored in the fourth quarter for the 17-6 final.
Kaitlyn Shaw led the Hawks with five goals and an assist for six points. Maddy Carullo also had six points with two goals and four assists. Alyssa Indelicato had three goals and an assist and Katie Zito added three goals to round out the leaders.

Netta Terrance (Akwesasne, N.Y./Salmon River) allowed 14 goals and made six saves in the first 36:17 for Potsdam. Senior
Kara Sue Mulvaney (Carthage, N.Y./Carthage) allowed three goals and made four saves in the last 23:43. Hailey Abner earned the win for New Paltz with six saves.
The Bears are back in action next Saturday when they host Buffalo State at 12 p.m.
