POTSDAM, N.Y.—Oswego State (5-9, 4-3 SUNYAC) defeated the SUNY Potsdam women's lacrosse team (6-8, 1-6) 19-10 on Saturday afternoon after the Bears honored their seven seniors on Senior Day. Junior attack
Anita Reitano (Averill, Park, N.Y./Averill Park) had three goals and an assist to lead the Bears. The four points give her 71 (48g, 23a) on the season, tying her for the program's single-season record with Potsdam Hall of Famer Alisha Schaad-Waite '08, Bri McClusky '16 and Murphy Newman '17.
Lakers sophomore attack Isabella Lembo (Massapequa, N.Y./Massapequa), who led all scorers with eight goals, struck just 12 seconds into the contest and Oswego never let up. She made it 2-0 at 11:40. After Potsdam junior midfielder
Taylor Swamp (Akwesasne, N.Y./Salmon River) got the Bears on the board, Lembo struck again to begin a 5-0 run. Oswego led 5-1 after one quarter.
Lembo scored three more times in the second quarter. Senior attack
Emma Thomas (Potsdam, N.Y./Potsdam) netted the Bears' second goal at 8:03 in traffic, burying a feed from Reitano. The Lakers were up 10-2 after 30 minutes.
Reitano scored a man-up goal to open the third quarter at 13:43 and added another goal at 1:26. However, four different Lakers' scored, including Lembo, and Oswego built its advantage to 14-4 after 45 minutes.
Potsdam finally surged for six goals in fourth quarter. Junior attack
Hannah Stevenson (Canton, N.Y./Hugh C. Williams) scored three times. Reitano, junior attack
Julia Blair (Massena, N.Y./Massena) and junior midfielder
Lindsey LaDue (Massena, N.Y./Massena) also found the back of the net. Oswego scored five times in the in final 15 minutes, including Lembo's eighth and three from sophomore midfielder Shae McConnell (Seneca Falls, N.Y./Mynderse Academy).

Netta Terrance (Akwesasne, N.Y./Salmon River) had seven saves in 52:37. Senior
Rachel Orzel (Ballston Spa, N.Y./Ballston Spa) was in goal for the other 7:23. Freshman Sarah Kamide (Watertown, N.Y./Immaculate Heart) made eight saves to pick up the win for the Lakers.

Reitano, who is the SUNYAC's second leading scorer, currently ranks fifth at Potsdam in single-season goals scored with 48 and is tied for third with 23 assists. She is eighth in all-time scoring for the Bears with 115 points on 72 goals and 43 assists.
The Bears are back in action on Wednesday, when they host SUNY Cortland at 4 p.m.
