The Knights scored the first 12 goals of the contest. Geneseo found the net three times in the first quarter, six in the second, once in the third and twice in the fourth. Walsh got Potsdam on the board at 8:37 of the fourth quarter. Kevin Cook led the Knights with four goals and an assist.
Freshman midfielder
Owen Walsh (Ballston Spa, N.Y./Ballston Spa) set up Hughes' goal at 4:53 and Cree closed the scoring at 4:19.

Liam O'Neil (Liverpool, N.Y./Liverpool) made 15 saves in the first 59:09. Sophomore
Collin Dougherty (East Greenbush, N.Y./Columbia) didn't face a shot in the last 51 seconds. Mark Pav earned the win for the Knights, allowing two goals and making four saves in the first 52:00. Brodie Sullivan allowed a goal and made two stops in the last 8:00.
The Bears are back in action next Saturday when they host SUNY New Paltz at 1 p.m.
