Lindsey LaDue (Massena, N.Y./Massena) scored twice for the Bears. Junior attack
Anita Reitano (Averill Park, N.Y./Averill Park) added a goal and an assist and graduate student attack
Kyrsten Stone (Massena, N.Y./Massena) also scored.
Geneseo seized control of the contest with a 10-0 first quarter and never let up. Reitano, Stone and LaDue scored the last three goals of the half and the Bears trailed 11-3 at the break. Reitano set up LaDue at 7:03 of the third quarter to make it a 15-4 contest. The Knights then scored the contest's final seven goals. Emma Gaenzle, Hannah Marafioti and Emily Salanger each scored four goals for Geneseo.
Sophomore goalie
Netta Terrance (Akwesasne, N.Y./Salmon River) made 10 saves for Potsdam. Margaret Rosaschi allowed four goals and made one save in 30 minutes for the Knights.
The Bears are back in action on Thursday when they head to SUNY Canton for a 4 p.m. contest.
