POTSDAM, N.Y.—SUNY Potsdam swimmers Kenzie Cerny (Ballston Lake, N.Y./Shenendehowa) and Brett Worden (Croghan, N.Y./Beaver River) have been named SUNY Potsdam Athletes of the Week for the week ending January 14.
 
Cerny, a junior, had three wins for the Bears women in their meet at Saint Michael's this afternoon. She captured the 1000 Freestyle in 11:27.52, the 100 Backstroke in 1:04.36 and the 500 Freestyle in 5:34.26.
 
Worden, a graduate student, led the Bears men with two solo victories. He captured the 200 Butterfly in 2:13.58 and the 200 Individual Medley with a time of 2:12.22. Worden also posted a second place finish in the 200 Breaststroke in 2:25.74. He then joined with three teammates for a second place finish in the 400 Freestyle Relay (3:41.41).
