UTICA, N.Y.—The SUNY Potsdam track and field teams provided more strong individual showings at the Utica College Winter Opener on Saturday. The women had six program top-10 performances and the men had four, including a record. Felician University captured the women's title and SUNY Cortland was the men's champs.

Freshman
Madison Wagner (Chittenango, N.Y./Chittenango) finished 13th in the 60M with Potsdam's second fastest time of 8.58, just .02 seconds shy of her own mark. Sophomore
Hailey von Ahn (Saratoga Springs, N.Y./Saratoga Springs) was 20th in the same event with the program's seventh fastest time of 8.80. Sophomore
Emily Yousey (Lacona, N.Y./Sandy Creek) had the program's eighth fastest time of 2:37.84 in the 800M to finish 16th. Senior
Emily Ware (Massena, N.Y./Massena) was 13th in the 1000M with Potsdam's fifth fastest time of 3:53.45. von Ahn posted the program's fourth fastest time in the 200M in 28.77 and Wagner was right behind her, finishing 20th in 28.96, good for fifth.

Junior Oduro (Watertown, N.Y./Watertown) set the Bears men's record in the 200M with a time of 23.94, finishing 16th. He then ran Potsdam's second fastest time in the 60M, 7.36 to finish ninth. Sophomore
Sam Renaud (Lagrangeville, N.Y./Trinity-Pawling) was 17th in the 800M with the program's fifth fastest time of 2:04.76. Junior
Timothy Petty (Highland, N.Y./Highland) rounded out the leaders with a 27th place finish in the long jump with Potsdam's fourth best distance of 5.44M.
