NEW LONDON, CONN.—The SUNY Potsdam cross country teams closed out their 2024 campaigns at the NCAA Atlantic Regional Championships at Connecticut College on Saturday. The Bears men and women each finished 21st. RPI won the men's race while Williams won the women's title.
Senior
Logan Ploss (East Greenbush, N.Y./Columbia) led Potsdam's men with an 8K time of 29:14.9 to place 134th. Sophomore
Samuel Barney (Plattsburgh, N.Y./Plattsburgh) was 139th in 29:41. Sophomore
Connor Till (Castile, N.Y./Letchworth) finished 152nd with a time of 31:22.6. Senior
Kain Robinson (Alder Creek, N.Y./Adirondack) (32:24.9) and junior
Josef Kaufman (Marcellus, N.Y./Marcellus) (35:00.7) rounded out the group finishing 157th and 164th, respectively.
Sophomore
Jocelyn Shatraw (Potsdam, N.Y./Potsdam) paced the women with a 6K time of 24:38.20 to finish 106th. Sophomore
Rachael Frazier (Queensbury, N.Y./Maple Hill) placed 144th in 26:27.70. Freshman
Makayla Farmer (Massena, N.Y./Massena) finished in 27:01.10 for 150th place. Senior
Emily Yousey (Lacona, N.Y./Sandy Creek) was 156th in 27:34.90. Senior
