OSWEGO, N.Y.—The SUNY Potsdam cross country teams ran at the 2024 SUNYAC Championships this morning in Oswego. The Bears women finished eighth, while the men were 10th. SUNY Cortland captured both the men's and women's titles.

Jocelyn Shatraw (Potsdam, N.Y./Potsdam) led the women with a 6K time of 25:42.5 to finish 18th. Freshman
Makayla Farmer (Massena, N.Y./Massena) placed 40th in 27:35.3. Sophomore
Rachael Frazier (Queensbury, N.Y./Maple Hill) was next in 28:13.6, finishing 45th. Senior
Emily Yousey (Lacona, N.Y./Sandy Creek) was 46th in 28:29.3. Freshman
Elaine Savaria (Cropseyville, N.Y./Berlin) was 58th in 33:24.4.

Logan Ploss (East Greenbush, N.Y./Columbia) paced the men, finishing 55th with an 8K time of 30:22.7. Sophomore
Samuel Barney (Plattsburgh, Plattsburgh) placed 59th in 31:44.7. Sophomore
Connor Till (Castile, N.Y./Letchworth) ran a time of 32:17.2 to finish 61st. Senior
Kain Robinson (Alder Creek, N.Y./Adirondack) was next, finishing 64th in 34:24.9. Junior
Josef Kaufman (Marcellus, N.Y./Marcellus) rounded out the group in 36:03.8 to finish 65th.

The Bears will wrap up their season in two weeks at the Atlantic Regional Championships at Connecticut College in New London.
