CANTON, N.Y.—The SUNY Potsdam men's and women's track and field teams each finished fifth at the SLU Invitational on Saturday. Hamilton College claimed the women's title and Plattsburgh State won the men's crown. The Bears recorded six program top-10 performances.

Makayla Farmer (Massena, N.Y./Massena) ran to a second place finish in the 600M with a time of 1:57.70. The time was the third best ever by a Bear in the event. The Women's 4x200M relay team of Farmer, freshman

Carli Knapp (Lovington, N.M./Lovington) and junior
Karissa Donnelly (Ogdensburg, N.Y./Morristown) was third with Potsdam's third best time of 2:10.87.

Cooper Ladouceur (Canton, N.Y./Hugh C. Williams) and senior
Zane Stevens (Chazy, N.Y./Chazy) finished fourth and sixth, respectively. The first team had the program's second fastest time of 1:49.98 and the second team had the third fastest time of 2:03.52. Sophomore
Talan Green (Canton, N.Y./Hugh C. Williams) was sixth in the high jump with the Bears' fifth best height of 1.75m. Freshman
Alexander Acocella (High Falls, N.Y./Roundout Valley) placed fourth in the triple jump with the program's ninth best distance of 10.32m. Kozub rounded out the leaders with a second place finish in the men's shot put with a distance of 11.64m.
