DaeLynn Alcock (Philadelphia, N.Y./Indian River) and sophomore men's basketball player
Mike Hancock (Bayville, N.Y./Locust Valley) have been named SUNY Potsdam Athletes of the Week for the week ending February 14.
Alcock averaged 16.0 points-per-game and 8.5 rebounds-per-game over the weekend. Against Fredonia on Friday, she recorded nine points, five rebounds, and three steals. The guard had a double-double in the Bears' 68-60 win over Buffalo State, with 23 points and 12 rebounds, to go with three assists, a block, and a steal.
Hancock averaged 21.0 points-per-game and 6.5 rebounds-per-game across two contests. In Friday's game against Fredonia, he had 26 points, seven rebounds, six assists, two steals, and a block. Against Buffalo State on Saturday, the guard had 16 points and six rebounds.
