Box Score POTSDAM, N.Y.-- Sean McAuliffe(Watertown/JCC) scored four goals to lead the men's lacrosse team as they routed visiting Cazenovia 20-4 on Wednesday afternoon in the Bears' home opener.

Garrett Sharp (Canton/Canton Central) had three goals. Ben McCullough (Brampton, ONT/Turner-Fenton), Kevin Green (Fairport, NY/Penfield), and Jordan Joncas (Kanata, ONT/Holy Trinity Catholic) all had two goals each.  Robbie Ashlaw (North Syracuse/Cicero-North Syracuse), Ryan Paparella (Whitesboro/Whitesboro), Ryan Pratt (Brockport, NY/Brockport), David Blackburn (Heuvelton, NY/Heuvelton), Kyle Phelix (North Lawrence, NY/St. Lawrence Central), Mike Faltisco (Williamsville, NY/Williamsville), and Cory Turner (Newport Beach, CA/Newport Harbor) all had one goal apiece.  Ashlaw had three assists while Paparella and Pratt both had two assists.

Pat Sauers (Saranac Lake) led the Wildcats with three goals.

The Bears led 9-0 midway through the second quarter before Cazenovia scored their first goal of the game. A total of 12 different players scored for Potsdam.

Four goaltenders saw action for the Bears. Billy Richards (Niskayuna/Niskayuna) started the game and did not record a save as did Pat Corbine (Canton/Canton).  Stefan Sloma (Niskayuna/Niskayuna) made one save and Paul Gordon (Johnson City, NY/Maine-Endwell) had two saves.

Alex Ianicello (Camillus) had 11 saves for the Wildcats.

The Bears will next host Hartwick on Saturday at 1 pm.
