The Mustangs outshot the Bears 6-4 in the first quarter, but the game remained scoreless after 15 minutes. Potsdam started a 3-0 run at 12:59 of the second quarter. Pike and sophomore midfielder
Jared Flath took advantage of the Bears' first two man-up situations 45 seconds apart. Nicholas scored three of the next four markers and Potsdam led 5-1 at 11:16 of the third quarter.
Morrisville added a second goal at 9:19 of the third period, but the Bears answered with a 5-0 run for a commanding 10-2 lead with 19:16 left in the contest. Junior midfielder

Potsdam outshot Morrisville 42-26 and collected 36 ground balls to the Mustangs' 24. Kevin Wilkerson scored twice for Morrisville.
