Box Score BUFFALO, N.Y.—Buffalo State (10-5, 3-3 SUNYAC) pulled away from the SUNY Potsdam women's lacrosse team (4-10, 1-6) early to go onto a 16-4 SUNYAC victory on Saturday afternoon. Maribeth Simmons paced the Bears with two goals to move into fourth place on Potsdam's all-time scoring list.
Simmons struck at 24:42 to tie the game at 1-1, but Debolt gave Buffalo State the lead back just 34 seconds later and ignited a 13-0 run spanning the next 38 minutes. Shaddock scored seven of the 13 goals and five in a row late in the first half. Simmons ended the drought with a free position goal at 15:43 of the second half. Junior attack

Emily Petit connected at 9:09 to cap the Bears' scoring. Shaddock and DeBolt added two more goals late as the Bengals went on to the 16-4 win.

Kaci Milligan allowed nine goals and stopped seven shots in the first 38:37. Sophomore
Jen Chmiel made five saves and allowed seven goals in the final 21:23. Buffalo State's Colleen George allowed all four goals and made three saves in 55:42 to earn the victory.
