Kyrsten Stone (Massena, N.Y./Massena) had a career-high nine points on six goals and three assists as the SUNY Potsdam women's lacrosse team (5-3) defeated Wells College (3-8) 19-4 on Tuesday afternoon. Junior attack
Anita Reitano (Averill Park, N.Y./Averill Park) stayed hot as well with four goals and two assists for six points. Sophomore midfielder
Lindsey LaDue (Massena, N.Y./Massena) also had a big day with two goals and three assists for five points. Sophomore goalie
Netta Terrance (Akwesasne, N.Y./Salmon River) had a personal best 17 saves to earn her ninth career victory.
The Bears seized control of the game early, building an 8-0 advantage after one quarter. Stone and Reitano each had three of the goals and LaDue and freshman attack

Allie Pohl (Burnt Hills, N.Y./Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake) all recorded assists.
Clara Lima scored the first goal of the second quarter to get the Express on the board, but Potsdam finished the half on a 5-1 run. Reitano, Marks, senior defender
Calena Rodriguez (Albany, N.Y./Albany), junior attack
Hannah Stevenson (Canton, N.Y./Hugh C. Williams) and Mulvaney each scored to build a 13-2 halftime lead. Stone and LaDue each picked up two assists during the run. Lima had the other goal for Wells as well.
Stone netted the first two markers of the third quarter on helpers from LaDue and Reitano to make it 15-2 at 9:00. Lydia Thomas and Lima scored the last two goals of the quarter and the contest for the Express and it was 16-4 after 45 minutes.
Freshman midfielder
Tessa Pierce (Saratoga Springs, N.Y./Saratoga Springs) scored twice in the fourth quarter and LaDue had the other goal with an assist from Pohl to close the scoring at 19-4.
Marks finished the day with five draw controls and a ground ball. Stevenson had four draw controls and two ground balls. LaDue totaled four ground balls, two draw controls and two caused turnovers.
Lauren Spiegel had 11 saves in goal for Wells.
The Bears return to SUNYAC play tomorrow when they head to SUNY Oneonta for a 4 p.m. contest.
