CANTON N.Y.—The SUNY Potsdam track and field teams provided more strong individual showings at the St. Lawrence University Invite on Saturday. The men had nine program top-10 performances, including two records. The women had eight with a record. The men's and women's teams both placed third with the host Saints sweeping the men's and women's competition with scores of 196 and 131, respectively.

Junior
Timothy Petty (Highland/Highland N.Y.) set the school record in two events. Petty started the day strong with a school record in pole vault with a clearance of 2.45m, which earned him a second place finish. He also set the Bears 60m hurdles record with a time of 12.75 where he placed fifth overall. Sophomore
Sam Renaud (Lagrangeville, N.Y./Trinity-Pawling) had a fourth place finish in the 800M in the program's seventh fastest time of 2:04.74. Sophomore
Junior Oduro (Watertown, N.Y./Watertown) ran the second fastest time in program history in the 60m in 7.34 as he came in sixth. He then ran Potsdam's second fastest time in the 200M (24.06), which placed him third overall. Junior
Aly Ceesay led the field events with a win in the high jump today, clearing 1.75m earning the Bears second best jump indoors. Petty followed behind with a jump of 1.55m while freshman
Caden Palmer (Hudson Falls, N.Y./Hudson Falls) cleared 1.50m for the program's fourth and fifth best jumps, respectively. Sophomore
Logan Ploss (East Greenbush, N.Y./Columbia) improved his mile time finishing in 4:49.79 for the program's eighth fastest time. Sophomore
Zane Moussa threw 10.18m in shotput to lead the Bears throwing squad with a fourth place finish. Senior
Luke Favata (Lake Placid N.Y. / Lake Placid) was right behind him with a throw of 9.97m to place fifth.

Madison Wagner (Chittenango, N.Y./Chittenango) broke the program's 60m record for the second week in a row with a time of 8.45 earning her a third place finish. Sophomore
Hailey von Ahn (Saratoga Springs, N.Y./Saratoga Springs) was close behind in the same event with the program's fourth fastest time of 8.56 earning her a sixth place finish. von Ahn and Wagner also earned top-10 all time marks in the 200 with von Ahn finishing in 28.68 for the Bear's fifth best time while Wagner finished in 28.88 for the program's seventh best time. von Ahn and Wagner earned third and fifth in the event. Emily Yousey (Lacona, N.Y./Sandy Creek) earned an indoor personal record with the program's second fastest time of 2:29.52 in the 800M to finish third overall. Senior
Emily Ware (Massena, N.Y./Massena) finished in the Mile with Potsdam's 10th fastest time of 6:41.39 for a fifth place finish overall.
