MIDDLEBURY, VT.—The SUNY Potsdam track and field teams opened the 2025 portion of their schedules this morning at the Middlebury College Snowflake Invitational. The Bears women finished sixth and the men were seventh. The host Panthers won both the men's and women's titles. The Bears recorded six top-10 program performances.

Jack Schroeder (Gouverneur, N.Y./Gouverneur) finished sixth in the men's 600M with the program's eighth fastest time of 1:54.30. In the women's long jump, junior
Madison Wagner (Chittenango, N.Y./Chittanango) was fifth with Potsdam's third best distance of 4.71m. Senior
Raven Winters (Harrisville, N.Y./Harrisville) was just .11 off her program record with the program's second fastest time of 11.19 in the 60M hurdles. She was ninth. Senior
Emily Yousey (Lacona, N.Y./Sandy Creek) (1:04.15) and freshman Mikayla Farmer (Massena, N.Y./Massena) (1:09.31) finished fourth and seventh in the 400M, respectively. Yousey had the program's fourth fastest time and Farmer had the ninth best. Senior
Emma Robbins (Newark, N.Y./Newark) placed ninth in the 200M with Potsdam's sixth best time of 28.63.

The Bears are back in action next Friday when they head to Utica College for the Utica Winter Open.
