POTSDAM, N.Y.—The SUNY Potsdam women's hockey team will hold a Teddy Bear Toss during its Friday, November 14, SUNYAC opener with Buffalo State.
The Teddy Bears, or stuffed animals of any kind, will be tossed onto the ice after the Bears' first goal or during the first intermission. Whichever takes place first.
All of the stuffed animals will be donated to the St. Lawrence Country Foster Care Program. The program is part of the Children's Home of Jefferson County. Local foster children will receive the toys during the holiday season.
The puck drops at 7 p.m. on November 14.
