POTSDAM, N.Y. – Senior track and field athlete Emma Robbins (Newark, N.Y. / Newark) and senior men's lacrosse player
Owen Walsh (Ballston Spa, N.Y. / Ballston Spa) have been named SUNY Potsdam Athletes of the Week for the week ending April 13.
Robbins set a new program record in the triple jump with a distance of 9.50m at the Utica Invitational Sunday.
In a 1-1 week for the Bears, Walsh recorded 9 points, scoring 8 goals and assisting once. In the 14-7 win over Morrisville Tuesday, he had 2 goals and an assist. Against Oneonta on Saturday, he scored 6 goals, the first of which was the 100th of his career.
