DAY 3 RESULTS
BUFFALO, N.Y.—Sophomore captain
Katherine Steeves (Kingston, N.Y./Kingston) stood out again for the SUNY Potsdam swimming team on Day 3 of the SUNYAC Championships, with a fourth place finish in the 100 Butterfly. Three Bears also earned spots in the B Finals.

Steeves finished fifth in the 100 Butterfly preliminaries with a time of 1:01.07. She was then fourth in the A Finals in 1:00.05. Junior
Leo Plaza (Hudson, N.Y./Taconic Hills) was ninth in the preliminaries of the same event with a time 1:02.37 to reach the B Finals. She placed ninth overall but was even faster in the finals, finishing in 1:02.37. Junior
Nataelee Mullen, the third Bear in the 100 Butterfly, was 18th with a time of 1:20.28. Junior
Madison Mitchell (Canton, N.Y./Hugh C. Williams) was 14th in the 200 Freestyle preliminaries with a time of 2:11.41. In the B Finals she finished in 2:13.81 to place 16th overall. Junior
Allie Shoen (Owego, N.Y./Owego) was 26th in the same event in 2:28.31. In the 100 Breaststroke, freshman
Delaynie Jessie (Liverpool, N.Y./Liverpool) (1:24.95) finished 18th and junior
Leah-Kristine Hunt (Watertown, N.Y./Watertown) (1:38.49) was 26th. Senior captain
Kathryn Nelson (Riverside, R.I./St. Mary Academy – Bay View) (1:12.86) was 21st 100 Backstroke, while freshman
Julie Lamantia (Binghamton, N.Y./Susquehanna Valley) (1:23.94) was 25th. The 400 Medley Relay team of Nelson, Steeves, Plaza and Mitchell finished sixth with a time of 4:26.35.

Boyle was 13th in the preliminaries of the 200 Freestyle with a time of 1:49.23. In the B Finals, he was also 13th with a time of 1:48.24. In the same event, freshman
Jackson Korn (Clarence, N.Y./Clarence) (2:03.81) was 22nd and junior
Matthew Bridge (Theresa, N.Y./Indian River) (2:17.02) finished 25th. Senior captain
Zach DeLorme (Rochester, N.Y./Irondequoit) was 17th in the 100 Butterfly with a time of 56.31 and freshman
Demetrio Schiavone (Altamont, N.Y./Guilderland) finished 23rd in 1:00.09. Junior
Tyler Schmitt (Deer Park, N.Y./Deer Park) (1:12.94) was 24th in the 100 Breaststroke and senior
Tyler Tice (Oswego, N.Y./Oswego) (1:19.38) placed 21st in the 100 Backstroke.
