COMPLETE RESULTS

CORTLAND, N.Y.—The SUNY Potsdam swimming teams finished fourth the Cortland Snow Flurries Invitational on Friday and Saturday. The host Red Dragons won both the men's and women's competitions. Sophomore captain Katherine Steeves (Kingston, N.Y./Kingston) stood out again with two individual victories and a second place finish.
 
Steeves won the 200 Individual Medley with a time of 2:19.05. She repeated the feat in the 200 Butterfly in 2:17.45. Steeves then finished second in the 100 Butterfly, completing the event in 1:01.96. Junior Leo Plaza (Hudson, N.Y./Taconic Hills) posted a fourth-place finish in the 200 Backstroke with a time of 2:30.93. The women's 200 Medley Relay team of junior Allie Shoen (Owego, N.Y./Owego), Steeves, Plaza and junior Madison Mitchell (Canton, N.Y./Hugh C. Williams) placed fifth in 2:09.31. The 800 Freestyle Relay team of Steeves, Mitchell, Shoen and Plaza was fourth in 9:10.54. The same four were fifth in the 400 Medley Relay with a time of 4:42.59. The 200 Freestyle Relay team of Mitchell, freshman Delaynie Jessie (Liverpool, N.Y./Liverpool) finished fifth in 1:53.25. The 400 Freestyle Relay team of sophomore captain Amelia Bohr (Unionville, N.Y./Minisink Valley), Jessie, Shoen and Plaza were also fifth with a time of 4:24.84.
 
Senior Finn Boyle (Lynbrook, N.Y./Lynbrook) led the men with third place finishes in the 200 Freestyle (1:53.21) and the 1650 Freestyle (18:50.93). Senior captain Zach DeLorme (Rochester, N.Y./Irondequoit) placed fifth in the 200 Butterfly in 2:11.20. The 800 Freestyle Relay team of DeLorme, freshman Jackson Korn (Clarence, N.Y./Clarence) freshman Demetrio Schiavone (Altamont, N.Y./Guilderland) and Boyle were fifth with a time of 8:13.27.
 
The Bears are now off until Saturday, January 10, when they host Saint Michael's College at 1 p.m.
