POTSDAM, N.Y.—Saint Michael's College defeated the SUNY Potsdam swimming and diving teams in a dual meet on Saturday afternoon in Maxcy Hall Natatorium. The women downed the Bears 174-47 and the men topped Potsdam 195-22. Sophomore captain
Katherine Steeves (Kingston, N.Y./Kingston) stood out for the Bears again, winning two events.

Steeves claimed the 200 Individual Medley in 2:22.32 and the 100 Butterfly in 1:03.56. She teamed with senior captain
Kathryn Nelson (Riverside, R.I./St. Mary Academy-Bay View), junior
Leo Plaza (Hudson, N.Y./Taconic Hills) and junior
Madison Mitchell (Canton, N.Y./Hugh C. Williams) for a second place finish in the 200 Medley Relay (2:05.59). The 200 Freestyle Relay team of sophomore
Amelia Bohr (Unionville, N.Y./Minisink Valley), freshman
Emma Montgomery (Winthrop, N.Y./ St. Lawrence Central) and Mitchell placed third with a time of 2:02.54. In the 200 Freestyle, Plaza finished second (2:11.27) and Mitchell was fourth (2:16.65). Bohr was fourth in the 100 Freestyle with a time of 1:05.85. Nelson finished fourth in the 100 Backstroke in 1:16.44. Freshman
Delaynie Jessie (Liverpool, N.Y./Liverpool) registered a time of 29.87 to finish fourth in the 50 Freestyle.
