OSWEGO, N.Y.—Oswego State defeated the SUNY Potsdam swimming and diving teams on Saturday afternoon to close out the regular season. The Lakers downed the Bears women 191-55 and the men 176-56.

Finn Boyle (Lynbrook, N.Y./Lynbrook) won the 1000 Freestyle with a time of 11:12.25. He was also second in the 500 Freestyle in 5:17.02. Freshman
Demetrio Schiavone (Altamont, N.Y./Guilderland) was second in the same event, touching the wall in 5:44.93. Schiavone was also second in the 200 Butterfly in 2:23.50. Freshman
Jackson Korn (Clarence, N.Y./Clarence) posted fourth place finishes in the 200 Freestyle (2:03.43) and the 50 Freestyle (26.17). Junior
Matthew Bridge (Theresa, N.Y./Indian River) was fourth in the 100 Freestyle with a time of 1:02.35. Junior
Tyler Schmitt (Deer Park, N.Y./Deer Park) finished second in the 200 Breaststroke (2:53.06) and senior captain
Zach DeLorme (Rochester, N.Y./Irondequoit) was the runner up in the 100 Butterfly (56.66). The men's 400 Freestyle Relay team of DeLorme, Schiavone, Korn and Boyle were second with a time of 3:44.87.

Katherine Steeves (Kingston, N.Y./Kingston) was second in the 200 Butterfly by just .1 seconds, registering a time of 2:20.62. She was also second in the 200 Butterfly in 1:03.30. Junior
Nataelee Mullen (Canandaigua, N.Y./Canandaigua) was third in the same event in 1:24.17. She was also third in the 100 Freestyle with a time of 1:15.57. Junior
Madison Mitchell (Canton, N.Y./Hugh C. Williams) placed second in the 100 Freestyle in 1:03.24. Mitchell was then fourth in the 50 Freestyle with a time of 28.74. Junior
Leo Plaza (Hudson, N.Y./Taconic Hils) finished second in the 200 Backstroke (2:28.80) and 500 Freestyle (6:14.80). Senior captain
Kathryn Nelson (Riverside, R.I./St. Mary Academy – Bay View) was third in both the 200 Backstroke (2:37.63) and 500 Freestyle (6:29.23). Junior
Allie Shoen (Owego, N.Y./Owego) was fourth in both the 100 Backstroke (1:19.61) and the 500 Freestyle (7:11.99). Freshman
Delaynie Jessie (Liverpool, N.Y./Liverpool) rounded out the individual leaders by finishing fourth in the 100 Breaststroke in 1:28.56. The women's 400 Freestyle Relay Team of Michell, Plaza, Nelson and Steeves finished second in 4:12.96.

The Bears now have two weeks to prepare for the SUNYAC Championships in Buffalo beginning on February 18.
